Formally trained in architecture, Bonaventura is a designer and visual artist based in Jakarta. He graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Master of Architecture degree. Bonaventura is interested in exploring the intersection between art and architecture. His work captures the poetry of everyday rituals, as he enjoys observing how people occupy and inhabit spaces in their daily lives. He works with muted palettes, long shadows and layered spatial compositions to create quiet, contemplative visual narratives. He believes there is always something meaningful in the mundane and hopes his work invites viewers to slow down and linger in the moment a little longer.
