Hari, the man behind Manasuka, is an illustrator based in Bali, Indonesia. Drawing has become one of his daily rituals. Animals and plants are recurring themes in most of his works, though he also enjoys exploring other interesting subjects. His art style is inspired by linocut techniques, using carved lines to create intricate imagery. Drawing each line has become a meditative process for him. He has been pursuing this art style since 2020. Limited color palettes combined with bold linework have become his signature visual style. “Muda Merasa, Muda Berkarya” has become his personal motto, which he interprets as staying young at heart while continuing to create.
