Catellites, or Septianie Putri (Septi), is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Jakarta, Indonesia. She graduated from the University of the Arts London with an MA in Illustration and Visual Media. In her illustration works, Septi tells stories by anthropomorphizing animals, plants, vintage objects, and food. Her curious, living and breathing creatures inhabit her odd, surreal, fantasy worlds. Most of her works are made in watercolor, gouache, or digital watercolor. Through her illustrations, she creates paraphernalia for curious thinkers who see the world a little differently. In her free time, she enjoys sipping iced coffee, reading (and buying too many books), or chilling with Pretzel the cat.

In medieval times, people believed humans could be created through alchemy: a homunculus. While modern science has shown that creating humans through alchemy is impossible, we figuratively grow a little human within each of us, made from the ingredients of life: the choices we make, the food we eat, how we choose to act, and everything in between. This little human is a small part of our consciousness that guides us through life.
