Beatrice (aka. @ohbeatricee) is an independent picture book author and illustrator who writes and illustrates stories exploring themes of thoughtful adventures and new beginnings. Using watercolour, colour pencils, gouache, collage, pan pastels, oil pastels, and mostly traditional mediums, she has created her most notable picture books—Dumpling the Tiger (her debut picture book), Peel, and Lucky Me—which have been sold from her little studio to readers all around the world. Her goal is to continually challenge herself in the craft of storytelling, mainly through picture books, using all the materials at her disposal to create stories that never talk down to or preach to anyone, but instead connect and comfort.
