Hi there! My name is Kayla, and I am a creative designer from Surabaya, Indonesia. Having lived in France and the UK, I have developed a unique approach to illustration. I am passionate about storytelling and anything related to culture and folklore. My work often reflects my diverse interests — from creating whimsical creatures to imagining Dracula’s trip to Southeast Asia — and I let my creative endeavors lead the way. I specialize in narrative illustration, storyboarding, hand-drawn animation, editorial illustration, and social media content. Although my background is in illustration and design, I have started learning pottery in recent years and have increasingly been incorporating my illustrations into ceramic work.
