Miski Nabila is a children’s book illustrator and dentist based in Bandung. She expresses herself through loose, dynamic linework combined with soft watercolor palettes. Influenced by her love of drawing comics during her school and college years, she enjoys creating dramatic expressions and playful character interactions. Her passion for children’s books grew after studying at Rumah Dongeng, where she became deeply inspired by the visual storytelling styles of Dr. Seuss, Roald Dahl, and Quentin Blake. She especially loves creating absurd and humorous stories filled with silly characters, lively expressions, and a touch of chaos. Miski enjoys observing characters and interactions in everyday life, films, and books, which continually enrich the warmth and personality of her illustrations. Through her work, she creates lively and expressive worlds inspired by daily activities, warm moments, and relatable characters.

A tender story of two souls who find each other later in life and cherish the time they have together. With soft illustrations and intimate everyday moments, each spread unfolds like a miniature stage, inviting readers to slow down and appreciate the quiet beauty of companionship. This book is presented in a theatrical pop-up format and marks my very first pop-up book project.
